Planning on working with an automotive (Kerry, Kings, Joseph, Wyler, etc) dealership? Here are a few quick tips on the most important things to ask the client so the process is streamlined and smooth from ticket creation to client delivery.

Offer Incentives (CO-OP involved):

  1. Ask for a high-resolution or vector logo (.ai/.eps) from the dealership.
  2. Request information about the vehicle:
    1. Model Year (most of the time is the current year)
    2. Vehicle Name and Specific Trim
    3. Monthly Lease Price
    4. Monthly Lease Term
    5. Are you planning on advertising a specific vehicle?
If so, please include VIN and link to the client's inventory page.
  3. Does the vehicle image have to match the specific model/trim? If not, we probably need to include a note in the disclaimer (i.e. Vehicle illustration may not represent actual vehicle)
  4. Request the terms and disclaimers for the offer:
    1. Ask if you are able to use 'see dealer for details' on display or social ads.
*The full disclaimer might not be readable on the small creatives.
  5. Are there any additional logos or monthly sales that need to be in the creative?
  6. Do we have access to the manufacturer's advertising portal? If not, please request access or the account credentials so the designers can pull the correct artwork for the dealer.
  7. Are there CO-OP guidelines available?

Before creating the ticket, please check this list so we can get started right away. DO NOT be hesitant about asking the dealership for these items. They have been working with CO-OP for a while and will most likely have all these assets available to you.
